If you're over the age of 8 and learning tricks or riding park, yes. The Pro Series frame, gyro disc kit, and 7075 hub are built for harder riding. If you're just starting out on your first bike and cruising the driveway, the OG4A is plenty.

The Wildcat OG4 P30 is rated for ages 4 to 40+. Smaller riders can use it but won't get the most out of the spec — most younger kids under the age of 8 do well on the OG4A. This is the Mini BMX that Dad can send it on as well!
The P30 isn't an entry bike. It's built for older kids, teens and dad's who want to progress or send it with their kids.
If you're after a first bike for a younger rider (under the age of 8), look at the OG4A or for those who might not need the added strength, look at the OG4 Pro Series. Save your money.

Bought a wildcat for my sons 6th birthday & it totally has is a bomb proof mini bmx, highly recommend fir any young shredder.
The grips that i bought were amazing and I was so glad I got them thank you so much they feel so good.
My 5yr old son absolutely loves it, and so did his big brothers in definitely would recommend wildcat.
